Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 September 2026
The short version: BRINXO has no accounts and never asks for your name, email address or location. Your progress is stored on your device. We use cookie-free, anonymous statistics and crash reports to improve the game, and you can switch statistics off at any time in Settings.
This policy explains how the BRINXO team (“we”, “us”) handles information when you play BRINXO on this website, in the Android app, or on a game portal, and when you visit this website.
1. Information stored on your device
Your settings (sound, vibration, reduced motion, statistics), scores, statistics, daily-challenge streak, experience points and badges are saved on your device — in your browser’s local storage on the web, or in app storage on Android. This information is not sent to us. On game portals that provide cloud saving (for example CrazyGames), the portal may store your progress in your portal account under its own privacy policy.
We do not use cookies for our own purposes. Local storage is used only to make the game work and remember your progress.
2. Anonymous usage statistics
If enabled for the version you play, BRINXO sends anonymous gameplay events (for example “game started”, “game completed”, score, accuracy, mode, app version and platform) to Plausible Analytics. Plausible does not use cookies and does not store IP addresses; it creates a daily-changing, anonymous identifier that cannot be used to follow you across days or websites. Results are only ever viewed in aggregate.
You can turn statistics off in Settings → Anonymous statistics. Statistics are also switched off automatically if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or “Do Not Track” signal.
3. Error reports
When something goes wrong, the game may send a technical error report to Sentry: the error message and where in the code it happened, the app version, platform, browser and operating system, and a device category (mobile, tablet or desktop). Reports do not include user identifiers, cookies, request headers or URL query strings. We use them only to find and fix bugs.
4. Advertising
BRINXO is free and may show ads between rounds — never during a question.
- Website: ads may be provided by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to show, measure and personalise ads. Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland) you are asked for consent first and can change your choice at any time. Learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- Android app: ads are provided by Google AdMob, which may collect your device’s advertising ID, IP address and device information to serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud. Where required you are asked for consent when the app starts, and you can revisit your choice in Settings → Ad privacy choices. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in your Android settings.
- Game portals: when you play on a portal such as CrazyGames or Poki, ads are served and managed by the portal under its own privacy policy.
5. This website
Our hosting provider processes standard technical information (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the website securely and protect it from abuse. We do not use this information to identify you.
6. Children
BRINXO is a general-audience game that is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The game has no chat, no user-generated content and no accounts. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
7. Legal bases
Where data-protection law such as the GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interest in running, securing and improving the game for anonymous statistics and error reports, and on your consent for personalised advertising where consent is required.
8. Retention
Data on your device stays until you reset your progress, clear your browser data or uninstall the app. Error reports are deleted automatically by Sentry within 90 days. Anonymous statistics are kept only as aggregated totals.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of personal data. Because we do not hold accounts or profiles, we usually cannot link any data to you — but we will gladly help with any request. Contact us at support@brinxo.online. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
10. Changes
If we change how BRINXO handles data, we will update this page and the “last updated” date above. Significant changes will be highlighted in the game.
